Xiaomi has just started this year with a bang in the Chinese markets. Earlier today, Xiaomi released three new products including Mi TVs and Mi Soundbar in India. On the same day, the company has also launched a new smartphone in their Redmi lineup. Also, it is to be noted that with the launch of this smartphone, Redmi has become a separate entity. Now, the smartphone launched by Redmi is the Redmi Note 7 which is the successor to Redmi Note 6.
As far as Redmi Note 7 is concerned, it packs a punch not only in terms of specifications and pricing but also in its design. With the Redmi Note 7, Xiaomi has decided to level up their design game.
The company has provided a glass body at the back which comes in gradients. Also, you get an Essential Phone-like Waterdrop notch on the front, unlike the Redmi Note 6 Pro’s wide notch. As always, the specifications of the Redmi Note 7 are also excellent.
In terms of specifications, the Redmi Note 7 comes with a 6.3-inch 1080p screen at an 18:9 aspect ratio. The smartphone is also powered by Snapdragon 660 processor from Qualcomm. Also, Redmi Note 7 becomes the first phone from Xiaomi in the Redmi series to have USB Type-C port. The battery capacity on the Redmi Note 7 is 4000 mAh and it is non-removable.
Now comes the major highlight of Redmi Note 7 which is its camera. Yes, the Redmi Note 7 has an impressive camera this time around, at least on paper. The Redmi Note 7 comes with a 48MP primary camera at the back and 5MP camera at the rear as well. On the front, there is a 13MP selfie camera.
Also, Xiaomi has launched this smartphone in China at a spectacular price. The base variant which comes with 3/32GB is priced at just 999 Yuan which is equivalent to Rs. 10,000 in India.
