After announcing the new Xiaomi CC series in China, Xiaomi has announced new smartphones too. In the Xiaomi CC lineup, the CC9, CC9e and CC9 Meitu Edition have been launched in China. These smartphones are targetted towards users who love to take selfies. In a way, this can be called the Xiaomi Y series which was launched earlier in India. These smartphones come with a waterdrop notch and triple rear cameras. The Xiaomi CC9 Meitu Edition comes with a special pearl white colour and additional accessories.
As far as the Xiaomi CC9 and CC9e are concerned, they both have AMOLED full HD+ display. On the CC9, you get a 6.39-inch display whereas the CC9e has a 6-inch display. The CC9 is powered by Snapdragon 710 processor while the CC9e is powered by a Snapdragon 665 chipset. The Xiaomi CC9 Meitu Edition is also powered by the same processor as CC9. The Xiaomi CC9 series also comes with an in-display fingerprint scanner.
In the camera department, all these devices have a 48MP primary camera, 8MP ultrawide camera and a 2MP depth sensor. On the front, Xiaomi provides a 32MP selfie camera along with a 4030 mAh battery and 10W fast charging.
As far as the pricing is concerned, the Xiaomi CC9 series starts at just 1299 Yuan in China for the CC9e whereas the CC9 is priced at 1799 Yuan and the CC9 Meitu Edition is available for 2599 Yuan. This means that the CC9 pricing in India might start at Rs. 13,000 in India and go all the way up to Rs. 20,000 for the Xiaomi CC9. The CC9 Meitu Edition might not be launched in India.
Also, Xiaomi CC9 is believed to be launched as the Mi A3 in India with Stock Android. On the other hand, Xiaomi might launch the CC9e as the Mi A3 Lite in India.
