Popular Chinese smartphone maker Vivo has launched the Vivo Y93 in India under Y-series lineup. To recall, the Vivo Y93 was already launched in China with Snapdragon 439 processor, however, in India, the device arrives with MediaTek Helio P22 processor. The Vivo Y93 smartphone will be available in offline retail channels also from Vivo India e-store.
Vivo Y93 sports a 6.22-inch IPS In-Cell display with HD+ resolution of 1520 x 720 pixels along with a waterdrop notch display. The device is powered with a MediaTek Helio P22 chipset paired with 4GB of RAM and 32GB as internal storage which can be expandable up to 256GB via microSD card. Vivo Y93 runs Android 8.1 Oreo based FuntouchOS 4.5.
Talking about the photovity, the Vivo Y93 offers a dual rear camera, 13MP sensor with f/2.2 aperture and 2mP with f/2.4 aperture. On the front, the device is equipped with an 8MP sensor with f/1.8 aperture. As usual, the front-facing camera comes with lots of features like Face Wake, AI beauty mode and AR Stickers.
This smartphone is backed but a huge 4,030 mAh battery, which is quite a good reason to buy this device. Also the connectivity options like Dual SIM slot, $G VoLTE, WiFi, Bluetooth, GPS, USB OTG and 3.5mm headphone jack. Also, the device is preloaded with Vivo JOVI, a new AI Smart Assistant.
Regarding the price and availability, the Vivo Y93 smartphone will cost around Rs. 16,990 and it will be available on both online and offline retailers. The pricing seems to be less than Vivo Y95 device and the in China, the Y93 was introduced with a price tag of 1,499 Yuan which is nearly $217.
