Popular-innovative Chinese smartphone maker, Vivo has displayed its upcoming Vivo New 5G Smartphone prototype during a Xinhua News media conference. The Vivo Nex 5G Smartphone prototype was showcased at Qualcomm booth and it gives hints of its specs and more details about it.
To recall, this is not the first time because we already witnessed 5G smartphones prototype during China Mobile Global Partner Conference 2018 from various manufacturers such as Xiaomi, Oppo and Vivo.
Today, Vivo had shown the same Vivo Nex 5G phone prototype at the above-mentioned event. The company is expected to showcase its 5G phone at MWC 2019 (Mobile World Congress) in February 2019. The MWC 2019 tech expo to be held at Barcelona, Spain and we can expect other smartphone makers will be announcing their 5G smartphones to the public.
As reported, the Vivo Nex 5G smartphone is powered by a Snapdragon 855 processor and it features the X50 LTE model for 5G connectivity. In the month of August, Vivo has already confirmed it’s development process of Vivo NEX 5G edition, but the new prototype got some modification in its chipset from Snapdragon 845 to 855 SoC. It gives hints, that Vivo’s engineers working on the device’s motherboard stacking, RG & Antenna design and on battery optimizations.
We don’t have any additional information about the Vivo Nex 5G edition. The recently launched Vivo Nex Dual display smartphone is packed with 10 GB RAM, so Vivo might release Vivo Nex 5G smartphone with 10GB of RAM with a huge battery.
