The new iPhone SE is really an iPhone 8 with a new measure. The processor, Touch ID, camera has changed, but the battery has not changed, the capacity of which is exactly the same as in the iPhone 8.
The latest tests show that the iPhone SE 2020 charges just as catastrophically slow as the iPhone 8. When charging with a traditional 5W charger that is attached to the device as you can see below, the latest iPhone will charge: within 15 minutes to 14%, in half an hour – up to 28%, in an hour – up to 57%, and to fully charge the smartphone needs … two and a half hours. Yes, it takes two and a half hours to charge a battery with a capacity of 1821 mAh.
The case looks a bit better when using the 18W charger, because as we know the iPhone SE 2-generation also received support for fast charging. The results are as follows: in 15 minutes the device will charge to 30%, in half an hour – 55%, in an hour – up to 83%, and a full charge will take … two hours. So the time to fully charge has not changed much.
In general, despite the small battery, the second-generation iPhone SE charges very long. Is that good Looks good, because as we know, charging with very high power in one degree or another negatively affects the battery.
