iOS 14 adds some new features to the Photos app. One of them is the ability to add a signature. What is this and how does it work?
Until now, adding a signature was only possible in the “Photos” application on the Mac in the Description field. In the iPhone, unfortunately, this option was not until now. The new system upgrade to iOS 14 introduces the previously mentioned option also on iPhone, iPad and iPod touch. Thanks to this function, searching for photos available in our gallery is even simpler.
How to add captions to photos in iOS 14
The process of adding signatures is very simple: first find any photo, click on it and move it up so that you can see the “signature” field under the photo. Now just click on the field and sign it.
To search for a written photo, simply go to the search engine available in the photos and there enter the word or words that were entered in the signature field. As you can see in the photo above, in our case it is “iOS14”.
A great thing that makes finding the most important photos easy. You no longer need to search thousands of photos to search for that particular one. Now with iOS 14, just add the signature and it’s ready.
