Twitter user yabhishekhd shared a photo of a supposed Apple Watch Series 6 battery that was registered with the Korea Testing and Research Institute.
The 303.8mAh (1.17Wh) battery certification was issued on June 23 by the Korean regulatory authority KTR, which approves and tests the new equipment before it is released to the market.

Given the shape, capacity and model number of A2327, it can therefore be assumed that the battery is intended for the future Apple Watch.
For comparison, the current generation of Apple Watch Series 5 has a 296 mAh battery with model number A2181. In addition, in the registration application, the battery is included in the fitness tracker category, which confirms its belonging to Apple smartwatches.
Apparently, the company’s engineers were able to increase battery capacity by removing Force Touch, which is not working on watchOS 7.
Apple is expected to unveil the new smartwatch at the launch of the iPhone 12 in September.
