Commenting on the financial report, Apple CEO Luca Maestri said the launch of the iPhone 12 “will be delayed by several weeks.”
This means that the premiere of the iPhone 12 will not take place until October. Why October? Luca mentioned the iPhone premiere (sale), not its presentation (event).
Let’s take a look at 13 years of iPhone history. Their sales never started overnight with a presentation and were usually delayed by several weeks. E.g iPhone 11 was shown on September 10, and was released on September 20.
Even adding a few weeks to this period, we get October. And if the presentation takes place at, say, the end of September, the sale date may even be in November.
