According to a new report by the analytical agency Omdia, the iPhone 11 was the best-selling smartphone in the first quarter of 2020, despite a pandemic.
In the first quarter of 2020, Apple sold about 19.5 million pieces of iPhone 11. In their report, analysts say that Apple has been the leader of the smartphone market for five years.
As you can see above, the second most popular smartphone was the Samsung Galaxy A51. Its sales amounted to 6.8 million units, so it was almost three times lower than the iPhone 11. The next position on the list was taken by the following smartphones: Xiaomi Redmi Note 8 and Note 8 Pro. The fifth place in the Omdia ranking was taken by last year’s leader – the iPhone XR, whose sales amounted to 4.7 million units.
The top ten best-selling smartphones in the first quarter of 2020 also included the iPhone 11 Pro Max and iPhone 11 Pro.
