The final versions of iOS 13.5 and iPadOS 13.5 were released just over a week ago, so it’s time to check the battery performance on iUsers with the latest iOS.
The test was conducted by iAppleBytes, who posted a film on their channel, whose main characters are: iPhone SE, iPhone 6S, iPhone 7, iPhone 8, iPhone XR, iPhone 11 and iPhone SE 2020. Before performing the test, the brightness of the iPhone screen was set at 25%, and the devices had exactly the same settings.
The test was traditionally carried out using GeekBench 4. The first device that discharged was the iPhone SE. The smartphone reached the time of 2h and 57 minutes. The next device was an iPhone 6s with a time of 3h and 8 minutes. Surprisingly, the third discharged the iPhone 8 after 3 hours and 23 minutes, and shortly thereafter the iPhone 7 with 3 hours and 34 minutes. The iPhone SE (2020) achieved an excellent result, which despite installing the same battery as the iPhone 8 obtained a result of 4 hours and 12 minutes.
As you can see above, the iPhone 11 and iPhone 11 Pro were much more efficient, which turned off after 6 hours and 2 minutes, and 6 hours and 34 minutes, respectively.
And how does the battery in your iOS 13.5 phones behave?
