Honor has just announced their latest fitness band for the Indian market. This is the latest Honor Band 4 from Huawei’s sub-brand. Honor Band 4 is also the next iteration of Honor Band 3. With the Honor Band 4, Honor aims to compete with Xiaomi’s fitness band, the Mi Band 3.
Now, there are a few areas where the Honor Band 4 is better than the Mi Band 3 and vice-versa. First of them is the pricing where the Mi Band 3 trumps the Honor Band 4. In terms of Indian pricing, Honor Band 4 is available for Rs. 2599. On the other hand, the Mi Band 3 is available at a price of Rs. 1999.
As for the specifications of Honor Band 4, the band has a 0.5-inch OLED display. This smartwatch has a dual-color strap. The Honor Band 4 comes in green, red, blue, yellow and pink color options for its strap. It also has improved sleep tracking as well as water resistance up to 50 meters.
There is also one feature that has been improved which is that it can now detect swim strokes while swimming too. This means you can now track exactly how many times you did a particular stroke and the duration of it too.
Honor Band 4 now also includes much better step tracking than before. This is due to the latest six-axis sensor and improved running posture algorithm which increases running distance by more than 95%. Honor Band 4 also comes with a unique foot mode. In foot mode, you have to attach the band to your foot. After this, it will track data like foot strike pattern, impact, swing angle step length and more.
Honor has also claimed that the Honor Band 4 can now run 2 weeks on regular usage. Also, the standby time on Honor Band 4 is great as well. The company has informed that the Honor Band 4 will give 21 days of standby time on a single charge.
As for availability, the Honor Band 4 will be available exclusively on Amazon. Share your views on Honor’s new Band 4 – Best Fitness Band? in the comments below!
