Hawk Tan, CEO of Broadcom, said the premiere of the iPhone 12 will be delayed and the product will not be released as every year at the end of September.
Broadcom provides Apple Wi-Fi chips for iPhones. According to Tan, the company’s revenues will fall in the third quarter because the “main product” of the “major American phone manufacturer” is delayed. Tang often uses a similar language when it comes to Apple.
The chip manufacturer expects revenue growth in the fourth quarter, which only confirms the rumors of a delay in the release of the iPhone 12.
Before WSJ and Bloomberg announced that the premiere of the iPhone 12 will not take place in September. The new smartphones from the Cupertino giant will probably hit store shelves a month later, in October.
